It is worth every effort to "exchange links" and regularly "submit your pages" to search engines.  Although similar steps can be done to submit the pages to other engines this post explains how to submit the pages to Google.  There are basically three ways to do it with the first two requiring respective Admin privs:

1. Site submission using Admin/Site Settings option: simply follow the menu, fill in the site Title, Description and Keywords and click the "Submit Site to Google" link at the bottom of the page.

2. Page submission using Page Settings option:  One of the ways to invoke Page Settings is to click on Admin Ribbon/Page Functions/Settings icon.  Fill the page Title, Description and Keywords and click the "Submit Page to Google" link at the bottom of the page.

3. Site or page submission using Google provided tool: Google for "submit to Google" phrase and follow your instinct.  I usually follow the "Add your URL to Google" listing leading to the following address and page http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl.
