But as many of you , I will not splash Continuance until the 21st. The bad news is this is the first time in a long time not being one of the first ones in. The good news is this will be the first launch Diane wanted to experiece. I am happy about that!

I am not happy about the work that was to be done to Continuance this winter. What ever it was it has not been done. Then again, I would rather do it this summer.

I have two leaking ports that don't leak because I put Tyvek tape on them. That project can wait til the tyvek gives out!

I did have two Multi display units repaired last winter so the Knot/ speed/ log should be working again. I changed the lower unit lube in the Evenrude 9.9 and changed the Zinc that was destroyed last year just by the engine use in just one year.

I bought a used main because the main I was going to make ..... the timewas not there.

I am ready this year to not only have great funsails but also to hide from you guys and the world for some of that quite time with Diane that both of us would like to have.

So.... There will be times we are very social and then there will be times that that we are going to hide. I know that most of us have that same feeling and I hope it will be respected.

Should you need help launching, or what ever, let us know. We are almost always willing to help.

Here I thought you where enjoying the wind over the past weekend...

As I still need to bottom paint the hull, sandblast and paint my keel, sand and repaint my rudder, and wax the hull, I hoping for launch on the afternoon of the 29th.

I'm thinking of installing a fish finder, are you using one?

I could sure use your help along with Scott Schell to step my mast.

Thanks,

Dave

No bottom paint for Continuance. She has some bare spots but  I have a lack of time. Heck, I am already a week late.

I waxed the topsides and painted the rudder and that will be it. I will repair two ports while at the mooring and will wax her deck when I get to it.

As far as instruments, I have a multi reader that does Depth, speed, log, temp, and time.

Dave, If I am there I will be happy to help with Spirit.
